Upload your solar contract and PG&E true-up bill. We read both and show you exactly what is in them — your terms, your exit rights, and whether you are getting what was promised. Privately, securely, and free. Any installer.
Files deleted after processing · No data sold or shared · No sales pitch, ever
How It Works
1
Create a free account. Email and password. A verification code is sent to your email every time you log in for your security.
2
Upload your solar contract (PDF) and your most recent true-up bill (PDF or photo). Optionally add a 12-month production export from your solar app.
3
Our AI reads both documents and produces a full report covering your rate, escalator, exit costs, production vs. promise, and your legal rights.
4
Read your report on screen and download a PDF copy. Your original files are deleted when your report is generated, with an hourly cleanup sweep behind it — the analysis is automated from upload to finished report.
Your Privacy Is Non-Negotiable
✓ Original files held only while the analysis runs, then deleted — backed by an automatic cleanup sweep every hour
✓ Your report is private to your account only
✓ Nothing from your contract, bill, or report is shared unless you opt in
✓ Two-factor authentication on every login
✓ We are not your installer, not your lender, not a referral service
✓ Reviewed once, then silence — your info stays yours, always.

Your files go into secure temporary storage only while our AI reads them, and are deleted when your report is generated — if a run is ever interrupted, an hourly automatic cleanup removes the files, typically within 24 hours. The analysis runs automatically end to end: your finished report appears on screen, and we keep a copy only when you opt in to a personal review or a consent copy below.

Who We Are
This tool is provided free of charge by Lower My PG&E, an independent solar consultancy based in El Dorado Hills, CA. If you ever want a second opinion or a new system, we may be able to help — but that is entirely your choice and this tool exists with no sales agenda.
If you have a solar contract from any installer, you are welcome here. We believe every homeowner deserves to understand what they signed, and that includes holding every installer accountable to what they promised.
This tool was built because homeowners deserve clarity, not confusion. Use it freely, with no obligation to ever contact us.
What We Collect
Your email address and hashed password (for account access)
The date and time a report was generated (no content)
Whether you opted in to quality-testing consent (yes/no)
Your finished report, held with its processing record until automatic cleanup clears it after about 7 days — download your PDF copy to keep it
The contact details you provide if you request a personal audit walkthrough (opt-in only)
Beyond those records, the content of your uploads lives in exactly two places: temporary processing storage, cleared as described below, and your finished report, which carries the details the AI extracted — your name as it appears on the bill, your rates, your system's numbers. We keep our own copy of that report only when you opt in.
How Your Files Are Handled
When you click "Analyze My Contract," your files are transmitted over an encrypted HTTPS connection to our AI processing server, where they sit in temporary storage only while the AI reads them. Your original files are deleted when processing completes — typically within a couple of minutes of upload — and an automatic cleanup sweep runs every hour, removing anything left behind by an interrupted run — typically within 24 hours.
The pipeline is fully automated — no step in it routes your contract or bill to a person for reading. What remains after a run is your finished report, kept behind your two-factor login until the automatic cleanup described above clears it. If you opt in to a quality-testing copy or a personal audit walkthrough, we keep a copy of your report (and for the walkthrough, your contact details) for exactly that purpose.
Two-Factor Authentication
Every login requires a one-time 6-digit code sent to your email. This code expires in 10 minutes. This ensures that only you — the person with access to your email inbox — can access your reports.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with any third party, including solar installers, lead brokers, or advertisers. The only exceptions are your two voluntary opt-ins: quality-testing consent, which shares your finished report (not your original documents) with Lower My PG&E for quality assurance, and the personal audit walkthrough, which keeps a copy of your report along with the contact details you provide so Mark can reach you. Both are opt-in and unchecked by default.
Your Rights
You may delete your account and all associated data at any time by emailing mark@lowermypge.com
You may request a copy of all data we hold about you
You may withdraw quality-testing consent at any time
